Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka Singapore is coming to Singapore in March 2024 as part of her Full Grown tour.
The Asian American stand-up comic with the trademark bowl haircut announced on Thursday (Dec 14) that two new shows have been added as her first two have sold out.
The new shows are on Mar 30 at 4pm and Mar 31 at 7pm at Golden Village x The Projector at Cineleisure with tickets on sale at www.atsukocomedy.com.
Tickets cost S$68.50 each excluding fees, with seating to be assigned by the order in which tickets were sold, meaning, if you want to be closer to the stage, you need to get your tickets earlier.
Okatsuka wrote on Instagram: “Singapore! You sold out 2 shows so I added 2 more. Act fast! Your neighbours got them last time!!”
She’s also performing in other Asian cities including Taipei, Osaka, Bangkok and Hong Kong as part of the tour.
The comedian and actress released her breakout HBO special The Intruder in 2022. She’s the second Asian American woman ever to get her own HBO special; Margaret Cho is the first in 1994.
Okatsuka has had several of her comedy clips go viral, most recently in early 2023 with her Instagram reel called “We had to get married a 2nd Time”.
