The 2023 MAMA Awards will be livestreamed for free on Mediacorp's mewatch

The MAMA Awards is one of the biggest music award ceremonies in South Korea and this year, K-pop fans in Singapore can catch the event for free, with English subtitles to boot, thanks to Mediacorp’s mewatch.

The platform will be providing live coverage of the 2023 MAMA Awards on Tuesday (Nov 28) and Wednesday (Nov 29), streaming both the red carpet show and the main awards show on both days.

Hosted by singer Somi and actor Park Bo-gum, this year’s MAMA Awards will be held at Japan’s Tokyo Dome and will see performances from some of the biggest active K-pop groups including Le Sserafim, (G)I-dle, Zerobaseone.

There will be four stages at the 2023 MAMA Awards: Theme, Super, Mega and Wonder.

The Theme stage will feature the likes of South Korean rapper Lee Young-ji, Le Sserafim, Treasure and Zerobaseone. The Super stage, on the other hand, will delight fans of the hit dancing competition Street Woman Fighter with a musical performance by Monika and Bada Lee. Joining them are Kep1er’s Xiaoting, (G)I-dle’s Minnie and Le Sserafim’s Yunjin. 

On the Mega stage, fans can anticipate an electrifying solo performance by Somi, while the Wonder stage promises a unique collaboration as K-pop artistes join forces with Japanese musician Yoshiki from the rock band X Japan for a special rendition of the iconic hit Endless Rain.

The 2023 MAMA Awards will be livestreamed with English subtitles on Tuesday (Nov 28) and Wednesday (Nov 29) at 3pm for the red carpet and 5pm for the main awards show via mewatch.
